The four person crew has wrapped up their work on the interior. Three months of mudding, painting, wallpapering & tiling etc are coming to an end. Praise the Lord!

We are on the last lap. The 2nd floor has been completed, now we are concentrating on the first floor. Things took a bit longer as we had to put on the outside stucco (first layer) for heat last fall first. So now we are concentrating on the inside.

It's been cold, but work has been continuing. Two fellows have been working at laying the tile on the first floor, and have the majority of it completed. The next step is completing pouring the subfloor in the conference room, and beginning to hang the doors.

This past year has been a bit of a whirlwind. Our focus has been on the first floor of the building. Getting the subfloor filled in and poured. Windows replaced and sealed. We had short term inidividuals join us during the summer to get that done, and then in November another team consisting of Canadians and Americans joined us to help get the dry wall hung throughout the building.
Summer 2008
Main floor was ripped up, filled in and got its first layer of cement thanks to the hard work of members of Grace Church, Grace Camp employees, SEND International missionaries and a young couple who came to serve for 3 weeks in the summer
Upstairs was filled with summer ministry workers for the camp ministries
Fall 2008
Main floor windows were replaced
Insulation began to go up on the exterior
The main floor walls that were to get plaster received the first coat.
A team consisting of Grace Church members, missionaries and 5 North American work team members (3 Canadians & 2 Americans) spent 9 days hanging and mudding the drywall on the entire main floor and stairwell. What a difference that makes!

Progress is visible! The front portion of the building is now getting closed in - windows will be in in by Dec 15; and the heat will be on by Dec 24.

This past month we have been working on 3 different parts of the projects. Getting windows put into 3 sides, running the primary water line and connecting heat. Windows are in, line is trenched and heat is on the way. Praise the Lord.

The majority of the drywall on the second floor is up, windows are on order, and we are beginning to work on the first floor.

Drywall is going into place, and we will be ordering the windows in the next week or so. Step by step.

A great week with the team from Maine. They took on the challenge of attempting to have the framing in place prior to their departure. That meant attempting to level the floor, lay the subfloor, work around the plumbing, run the wiring, and put up the metal studs. Praise the Lord for how He enabled the group - Ukrainians, missionaries and the team to complete the task.
