  Praise & Pray with us:

Praise the Lord for our support levels.  We
  are amazed and overwhelmed.  Please
pray for the remainder of monthly support
& home service expenses to be raised.

  Pray
for the kids, that they would be able
to finish the school year well, especially
Lanae as she completes gr 12.

  Pray
for John as he is in Budapest,
Hungary (March 17-23) helping to facilitate
  a SEND conference for 21
missionaries from around the SEND world.
Pray for safety in travel, wisdom for all and
that God would use this time to equip and
encourage His workers who serve in youth
  ministries.

  Pray
for us as we come into the last few
months prior to returning to Ukraine.  It will
  be a challenging time.

On the home front….a few firsts...
  • Both Lanae & Alicia have gotten their learner's permits.  It gives a whole new dimension to the word "stress"
  • John & Daniel are part of the boys club at our home church.  Early in March the club went for a weekend at a bible camp for a campout.  Not sure who was more tired, the adults or the boys.
  • The girls had an opportunity to go snow boarding at a local ski hill with Alicia's jr high class.  Quite the experience was had by all.
  • Daniel didn't know that Canada had mountains, so we stopped in Banff for an overnight late in December.  It was beautiful!
Everyone enjoying a winters day in Banff before Christmas
Please contact us for more details.
What's coming…..

Departure for Ukraine:
Lord willing, we will be flying out of Toronto on July 10.  That will get us back to Ukraine in the middle of the summer camp season, the perfect time to re-enter.  It gives us the opportunity to see a majority of people quickly, and gets us back into life and culture in a natural way.

It also gets us back in time to help with….
English Camp
At the end of July, Grace Camp is having its first English language camp-the majority of the ministry will be done in English.  John has been asked by the Ukrainian leadership to oversee this camp, as there will be a number of  foreigners who will be involved.  So we are recruiting people to come and serve.  If you are interested, please contact us.

Long term plans
Please continue to pray with us regarding the long term plans.  We are planning to go back to Ukraine for 3 years this term.  After that (in 2015), the plan is to come back to Canada for an extended period (2 years or so) in order to bridge the two oldest into their next stage of life.  This is all tentative, and in the Lord's hands…...

This winter has been quite gentle for us travelers.
The worst part of our travels was a long day of fog in southern Manitoba and trying to outrun a blizzard in northern Alberta.  We are very thankful that God has kept us safe through many miles of travel this winter.

   Thank you Lord!
We are amazed!
See our support update below...
Home Service Finance Update

We are so thankful,  to God and to our financial ministry partners.  We have been consistently  supported over the years of overseas ministry, and it isn't something that we take for granted.

Here is the amazing news!

Monthly Pledged Support

We only need to raise $ 75 in new, monthly pledged support by June 1.  That is amazing!
For example
: 2.5 supporters @ $1/day ($30/month)

Home Service Expenses

Again, this is amazing how God has provided in this area.  Our budgeted amount needed was $16,000, and God has provided through a variety of             individuals over $ 14,000.  Praise the Lord!

Budgeted Amount        $ 16,000
Amount Rcvd              $ 14,000+

Continuing progress in developing a missions strategy in our region which includes ministry to different portions of Russia.  A delegation of pastors/ministry leaders is planning a trip in mid March to meet with churches in central Russia.
